My friends and I have found the GPS isn't that accurate on the greens (not a golfpad issue, just a limitation of the tech), and we end up manually inputting out putts and the flag.
The problem we have is getting the right distance on the 2nd (or 3rd) putt is a real pain, and it'll jump between 3ft to 5ft, and you can never seem to get it to 4ft. It'd be really handy to just be able to enter the distance in and that extend the putt on the same angle from the hole.

Yes, this is an excellent idea and would save a lot of editing time mm.
