There needs to be some advancement in battery life when using the golf pad tags.
I had over 70% when starting the round today, and it died before hole 16.
This is without using my phone at all, it was in my pocket all round, I had turned the brightness down to zero after activating tag scan mode, and it never left my pocket.
Either:
A. Create or support some sort of nfc scanner that we can clip to our pants/belt, that doesn’t require the screen to be on all the time, or
B. Advance the battery drain to a level where you can finish a round with around 50% at least
This is with an iPhone 16 pro. So the battery øife should be top notch (battery health still 100%)

Hi José! Thanks for sharing your suggestion! At this time, we do not have plans to make an NFC scanner that attaches to clothing or belts. If you have any questions about scanning your TAGS, please feel free to create a new support ticket, and our team will be happy to help.

Hola!!!

Hi Jon! We haven’t received similar reports from other users regarding battery drain while using Golf Pad TAGS, especially on the iPhone 16 Pro. That said, we understand how important it is to have your device last throughout your round.
If the battery issue continues, could you please send us a report after reproducing the problem? You can do this by going to Golf Pad app > Preferences > Help & Support > Question or problem? > Contact us via email. This report will help our team investigate the issue in more detail.
