I’d like to request an enhancement to the Strokes Gained screen to improve usability and workflow efficiency.
Current limitation: The Strokes Gained screen is static. There’s no way to interact with individual holes—navigation requires backing out to the main menu and drilling back in. In practice, this often takes 10+ taps just to view a single hole’s details.
Requested functionality (priority order):
Primary: Allow users to tap a hole row (e.g., #11) to jump directly to that hole’s map view
Secondary (stretch goal): Provide access to the score edit view from the same interaction (e.g., long press or secondary option)
Use cases:
Performance analysis: I use Strokes Gained to quickly identify strong/weak holes. Being able to jump directly to the map gives immediate context (shot shape, miss location, distances).
Data validation: When something looks off (e.g., strokes gained anomaly), I want to quickly verify if a shot was mis-tracked or missed entirely.
Workflow efficiency: This change would eliminate excessive navigation and make the Strokes Gained screen a true hub for round analysis, not just a report.
Impact: This would significantly reduce friction and improve in-round and post-round analysis. It turns Strokes Gained from a passive view into an actionable interface.
If helpful, I’d suggest:
Tap = Map view
Long press or icon = Edit score
This feels consistent with how users expect to drill into data across most mobile apps.
Thanks for considering—this would be a high-value improvement for users who rely heavily on strokes gained for game improvement.
