How to download or export playing history?

Modified on Wed, 02 Aug 2023 at 03:19 PM

The data is exported in CSV format that can be easily imported and processed in Excel, Google Spreadsheets or other table processing software. You can compute your own statistics, do detailed game analysis and more.

To begin the export, open Golf Pad on your phone, go into settings and select Data Export. You will need to confirm your email address and select the type of export: 'rounds only' or 'comprehensive'. See below for description of data included in each export type. Comprehensive export requires Golf Pad Premium upgrade.

The link to export data file is delivered via email, usually within 15 minutes of request, but it may take up to 2 hours. Please be sure to check your spam and promotions folders and/or add mailman@golfpadgps.com to your contact list to ensure the email is properly delivered. Download link is valid for 3 days.

  • distance from center of fairway - negative if ball lied left of the center, and positive if it was to the right

Fields that are not available are left empty.

Important notes:

  • Only shots and putts with known length are included.
  • Distance units (meters or yards) are detected automatically based on location and specified in shot length field. The same units are used for both shots and putts.
  • Target distance before and after are computed to the marked flag location when available. If flag was not marked on a given hole, the position of last putt is used to approximate flag location. If no last putt position is available, the distance to the middle of the green is used for shots from outside the green.
