I am getting really annoyed by my Golfpad Tags recording my shots on the wrong hole. I will tee off on the next hole and quite regularly look later and see that it added it on the previous hole instead of the one I'm currently playing. It happens on any golf course, and it happens often! Is this just a quirk of the app/tags or is there some setting I can change to help prevent this?

Thanks Alyona, My usual error is not advancing prematurely, but usually putting my first drive on the next hole back on the previous hole. Perhaps the next round I play I will just let it do its thing and not correct any of the mistakes it makes along the way so I can post the results. Otherwise, I may just disable the auto-advance feature and see how it goes. Thanks for you help, I didn't even know turning off the auto-advance was a possibility. :)

Hi, Lonnie! Our algorithm uses artificial intelligence system backed by Google's TensorFlow framework to pick the right hole for recorded shots.
However, sometimes the autoadvance algorithm can move you to a different hole before you've completed the current one. Please share your round with us from the player dashboard. Just paste the link into a support ticket. Include specific details about what happened. E.g. I was on hole 12, hit my 2nd shot to the fairway in hole 14 and was moved to that hole. Your feedback will help us refine the autoadvance algorithm and enhance its accuracy!
As a temporary workaround, you can disable the auto-advance feature under Golf Pad preferences.
