Golf Pad requires 'all times' location access in order to provide immediate and accurate rangefinder distances when you need them, without any delay. Please see this article for more information on how Golf Pad uses background location.

To configure the permission, please open Android settings / Location / App permissions, then select Golf Pad and choose 'Allow all the time' option. Settings naming may vary on different phone models, search settings for 'location' if needed.

NOTE, we take our users privacy seriously. Golf Pad only uses location information when there is an active round in progress, and only to calculate the rangefinder distances and statistics.
